Erica Ramus Cropped

The REALTOR® University Board of Regents is pleased to welcome the newest addition to the Board, Erica Ramus. Erica has been a dedicated supporter of REALTOR® University since its inception and proudly graduated with REALTOR® University’s first class of Master’s Degree in Real Estate graduates.

After graduation, Erica continued her involvement with the University by serving on the REALTOR® University Scholarship committee, a proven asset to the committee, and a merit-based scholarship recipient herself. Erica also serves on the REALTOR® University Alumni Committee and will Chair the Committee in 2016, helping to continue efforts to connect alumni with other alumni and the University, in a meaningful and effective way.

During her first Board of Regent’s meeting in April of this year, Erica made a poignant statement about where her Master’s Degree in Real Estate has gotten her.

“Right here. Being asked to serve on the REALTOR® University Board of Regents is a concrete example of what the MRE has done for me. It has leveraged opportunities I would not have had otherwise”.

Erica is a Schuylkill County native and earned degrees at Armand Hammer United World College of the American West (I.B.), University of Delaware Honors Program and Kutztown University (B.A.). She sits on committees at both the state and national level (PAR and NAR). She opened her real estate brokerage in Pottsville in 2007. She is extremely active in the community, especially in the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce (Past President) and Rotary Club of Pottsville (Past President). She and her husband are active in the international foreign exchange community, and have hosted over 10 students in the past, from 6 week stays to the full school year.

Erica will prove a tremendous asset and will provide a student perspective which will contribute to the high-level guidance, governance and management the REALTOR® University Board of Regents provides the University. Welcome, Erica!
