REALTOR® University’s Master of Real Estate (MRE) Program is unlike any advanced program available today, and created specifically with real estate professionals in mind.This is a true Master’s Degree program. With five concentrations, ranging from Asset & Property Management to Real Estate Association Management, our MRE program allows you to focus on your passion, and take your professional specialty to the highest level possible. Who can be admitted to REALTOR University’s MRE Program?

To be admitted to REALTOR® University’s Graduate School, applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an appropriately accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, Council of Higher Education Accreditation, or international equivalent. Applicants must also demonstrate quantitative and verbal skills proficiency. No specific undergraduate concentration or preparatory coursework is required for admission, however students admitted without specified courses in business administration may be required to take Business Prerequisite courses, adding to program length. Applicants should note that all instruction and services are provided in English.

What is the application process like?

If you’re thinking about applying for our real estate Master’s degree program, you might be wondering how the whole admissions process works, and what’s expected. Here are some high level basics on how it works:

  1. Complete and submit your application.
  2. An email notification will let you know that your application has been received.
  3. We will review your application and see if your experience meets our real estate Master’s degree program admissions requirements.
  4. You will receive an email announcement within 30 days of your initial submission letting you know whether or not you have been accepted.
  5. If accepted, you will be able to register for courses starting the following session.

What are the requirements to successfully complete the Master of Real Estate Program?

To graduate, MRE students must receive credit for at least 12 courses (36 semester-credit hours), consisting of seven program-specific and five elective and concentration courses. Some students may also be required to complete up to seven Business Prerequisite courses, and one or two foundation skills courses – Foundations of Managerial Mathematics (GPRS 400) and/or Foundations of Professional Communications (GPRS 410) – credits from which do not count toward graduation requirements.
