Rebecca Thomson ResizedREALTOR® University is pleased to welcome another highly qualified member to the Board of Regents. Her professional accomplishments and REALTOR® community involvement prove extensive. Not to mention, she still finds time to volunteer outside of the real estate community! Professional Accomplishments:  Thomson is the Vice President of Agent Development at @properties, the largest independent brokerage in Chicagoland. She is responsible for training and business development initiatives for @properties’ 1900+ agents. Before coming to @properties, Thomson handled residential sales, luxury leasing, and new construction for an international luxury firm.

Thomson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. Her professional recognitions include the Chicago Women’s Council’s 2014 Member of the Year, the National Association of REALTORS® “30 Under 30” (2014), Chicago Association of REALTORS® President’s Award (2013), Chicago Agent Magazine’s Who’s Who in Chicago Real Estate (2012, 2013, 2014), and RE/MAX Vision Rookie of the Year (2006).

REALTOR® Community Involvement: Thomson currently serves as the Treasurer for the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, on the Advisory Board for the Illinois Young Professionals Network, and serves on local, state, and national levels for both the National Association of REALTORS® and Women’s Council. In 2015 she graduated from the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy, she served as the Chair of the Illinois Young Professional Network in 2014 and 2015, and in 2013 she served as the President of the award-winning Chicago Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

Thomson speaks locally and nationally for the Women’s Council of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® on topics including leadership, business development, marketing strategies, social media, and membership.

Volunteer Service: Outside of real estate, Thomson is dedicated to her community and serves on the board of Directors for the Union League Club of Chicago. She has also served on the Board for Step Up Women’s Network.
